How to order
Four steps,
one cake.
You don't need to know exactly what you want before you get in touch. Send us the date and the occasion, and we'll take it from there.
-
Send us the details
Use the form below, or message us on WhatsApp. Tell us the date you need the cake, roughly how many people it's for, the occasion, and any flavours or colours you have in mind. Photos and inspiration links are welcome.
-
We come back with a quote
Usually within a day. You'll get a price, a recommended size, and a description of how the cake will look and taste. If something you've asked for won't work at your size or budget, we'll say so and suggest an alternative.
-
Confirm with a deposit
A deposit holds your date and starts the order. We'll send written confirmation of the final design, flavours and collection or delivery details. The balance is settled on collection or delivery.
-
Collect or have it delivered
Collect from our kitchen, or we deliver across Nairobi and set up tiered cakes on site. We'll confirm a time window the day before so you're not waiting around.
Lead times
How far ahead to book.
The earlier the better, but we do keep room for short-notice orders where we can.
Celebration cakes — 5 days
Birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers and small gatherings. Five days from confirmation is our usual minimum.
Dessert tables — 1 to 2 weeks
Because there are several items to bake and box, these need a little more notice than a single cake.
Wedding & tiered cakes — 3 to 4 weeks
Includes a tasting and a design conversation. December and public holiday weekends fill up first, so book early for those dates.
Short notice
Ask anyway. If the calendar allows, we'll take it. Simple single-tier cakes are sometimes possible at two or three days' notice.
Order enquiry
Tell us about your cake.
Fill this in and it comes straight to us. The more you tell us about the occasion, the better the first quote will be.

Practicalities
Payment, delivery and changes.
How does payment work?
A deposit confirms your order and holds the date. The balance is due on collection or delivery. [Payment methods — M-Pesa, bank transfer, cash]
Do you deliver, and how much does it cost?
Collection from the kitchen is free. Delivery across Nairobi and the surrounding areas is quoted based on distance and the size of the cake. Tiered and wedding cakes are delivered and set up on site — we'd rather place it ourselves than have you carry it.
Can I change my order after confirming?
Small changes — a message on top, a colour tweak — are usually fine up to three days before. Bigger changes to size or design depend on how far along the order is, so tell us as early as you can.
What if I need to cancel?
Tell us as soon as you know. Deposits cover ingredients and reserved time, so how much can be returned depends on how close to the date you are. [Cancellation terms]
How should I store the cake?
Keep it cool and out of direct sun, in the box, and take it out about an hour before serving so the sponge and buttercream come back to room temperature. Fondant cakes shouldn't go in the fridge.
Do you do corporate and event orders?
Yes — offices, launches, schools and events. For repeat or large orders we can set up a standing arrangement. Mention it in the form and we'll quote accordingly.
